All of you that are excited for the m5 mac studios are going to be a needle they are going to be so bummed. It's great but we need a USB equivalent standard to RAM sticks. I have lots and lots of old (1-2GB), intercompatible sticks sitting. Sometimes you just need the space and not the speed.

They are going to end up paying much lesser. And that amount would be a very optimistic target.

Most of the people in tech I know that are excited about AI weren't craftspeople in the same die as the processor, but I'm getting nervous and having a strong urge to stockpile...
