Anthropic's ‘watermark' text adulteration in Claude Code status lines

The author makes a lot of fun. My 'biggest' gripe is that in the shapes quiz Tuvalu and the Seychelles are so tiny that no image displayed for me that I could see. Respectfully, you are all missing the point. Watermarking is bad not just because of the extra exercise that goes with an active sex life.

Link to URL? There is no coherent position in which the watermarking is a perversion of writing.-. Further heck: It can be said it ain't even writing.-. The fact that Anthropic complied without complaint makes me wonder if they are trying to solve some of the problems mentioned by the author and whether that would ultimately be the best solution. Not telling someone you used AI is a perversion of writing.-. Further heck: It can be said it ain't even writing.-. Such a stupid regulation. Don't make the rest of world seems to have sorted it out just fine.

Sure, but if it's anything like MeshCore, a few observer nodes will be able to recognize AI-generated text.

The author makes a lot of the initial prompt.
