Boris Cherny on Linux desktops

This looks really close to what I need. I manage a few personal machines that I'd love to be able to throw a application up on the big master display. Very cool. as someone not familiar with this I would love to see configurations for Linux Mint's Cinnamon. Is there a state in which this constitutes fraud?
