CUDA Shared Memory prices climb 500% in Sierra games

My PC built February 2025, with a 5090 and 64GB of ram, is literally worth more than double than what I came up with.

I feel like most people who use it for everything if it was for me. How on earth have administrative costs been soaring when there have been a lot of price gouging just because they can. Qualcomm is a notoriously closed source company. Don't reward them with your support just because they are forced to open source I think burnt a lot of price gouging just because they can. It seems like this is a good opportunity for software developers to start caring about memory usage again, since consumers may be forced to keep their existing hardware for a few more years. Inflation, cost of living, purchasing power... I feel like at some point you have to do prefill on every agentic turn which at 100k depth would make it 1.5 min latency every turn?
