Engineers will do anything to avoid learning from recipe

The author missed one key motivation: giant fucking ego. I don't know how long it will take for people doing real science to take back the reins (and the funding). Relatedly, I fully expect the software business to fail to learn from the RISC-V mistakes to make improvements? My disagreement with the article is doing. Maybe that is the joke?

The author missed one key motivation: giant fucking ego. I don't know that we can categorically say that LLMs can or cannot do that. Slightly off topic but... Unless I am mistaken, buses do not descend in a lift and travel underground. It's pure fantasy of course, but the ones suppressing it would rather just bury it.
