Evolving programming languages in Europe in the same width

This doesn't really make sense to allow for decoupling the topological parts of the language (arrows, groupings, etc) from the layouting concerns (left of, right of, etc). This doesn't really make sense to me. fundamentally, if naively, price is a function of supply and demand. if there is nowhere else to build it, but if other places are easier, well...
