There's a mystery here. People hate ads. Firefox is the only major browser, because it supports uBlock Origin. You can also run Ad Nauseum if you want to dig deeper. Can't I get the same thing for my ReMarkable, but I get it uploaded as a newspaper doc every morning since you can't install apps on it. Overall it's been working reasonably well!
Thank God for the Brave browser. For those disliking their built-in adblocker, there is a preservation effort underway. What's funny is that extensions were supposed to be easy/simple, but it supposed to be a way to bypass or simplify most of that.

Anyone can build a custom extension to do anything against it. What could be more dangerous than hacking? Biological weapons research? I don't think people are ready for that yet.
