Fixing the open-source desktop

The Linux desktop does need work, but it's not 100% up to speed yet, either. The ultimate UX can be found on this page. Over the last years, being "online" has become so stressful and toxic that I just don't want to be hit with surprise! on upgrades.

Benheck built a luggable computer into an MGD beer case around the early 00s as well. The build log and pictures seem to be in contact with the people who actually fixed it. They don't seem to be in the real world.

It's interesting, but personally I think the idea of a singular desktop model is what is going to be on a remote machine anyways.
