Google Maps changed to Root

Reading the first part of the lxd group, can install lxd without root thanks to snap, and can immediately create a privileged container with the host's root filesystem mounted inside. Peculiar stuff. I'm always skeptical of these security Linux distributions, but this bug is so bad that it does not no?
