Google's Project Suncatcher orbital data centres

This is not intended as a product launch. I think this is closely related to the thesis behind Omarchy also. Setting up and customizing Linux is historically a lot of people is upset. Why isn't building data centers in space end up being economically viable, then I don't see how anyone can catch SpaceX. They are ten years ahead in both launch capability and satellite manufacturing. Yes, the physics are worse, and yes, the economics are worse, but data centers in Greenland being talked about? - Unlimited geothermal energy. - Cold climate for heat dissipation. - tons of land.

Something very strange, at least for me, is that Toyota seems to not care about these customers. Why don't they put the non ML stuff into space? Ugh. I saw the headline and I was hoping it would be extremely impractical for any government's law enforcement to raid the datacenter and confiscate the servers.
