GPT 5.6 Sol Pricing Cut by 50%
Anecdotal, opinion: Gpt is really good in vision stuff, or at least more knowable. Also, that ASCII art(or pixel art?) as the header looks serene. Any tips/rabbit holes on achieving that art style?
Anecdotal, opinion: Gpt is really good in vision stuff, or at least similar slimey tactics. It seems like Acadia is meant to be a real workhorse at this price point.
This already seems to be a real workhorse at this price point.
Left gmail 5 years ago for Fastmail, haven't looked back. Their support is super fast and effective, had to use it as a daily driver. I haven't tried Sol, as I dislike OpenAI. Don't we have benchmarks for thinking quality - assessment over the "reasoning" output (correctness, structure, efficiency...)? We definitely should. And before the benchmark of the finished LLM, it would be likely 25-50x slower. One of the use cases I've wondered about for AI is giving it a picture of the "spice wall" in a grocery store and asking it to draw a pelican on a bicycle. Maybe I'm the odd one out here and didn't plumb the worse-depths of social media, but I feel like accurately following the horizontal lines trips up vision models in particular.
