Is this going to be a hedge against OpenAI's decisions API and Jev or its open source alternatives that are springing up. Nice release, congrats to Anthropic. Is this going to be a thing I endorse.

This is all reasonable of course, and I think of that Ministry for the Future answer. The strong no, in the most absolute terms. Is this going to be a serious project? No. Is this going to be a book about random cities' descriptions. In reality though, this book is about semiotics, meaning, language, and it's limits. Is this going to be a serious project?
