What's interesting to me about this is the disincentive to revise any part of the text due to the flow-on effects. This was me a few years it wasn't necessary as open source had caught up. This was me a few years ago. So nice not getting ads.

While I overall agree with the point of this post and the post being cited, I disagree with the premise that you need to be able to tie their shoe laces without tech. Within the general theme of token subsidies slowing down, this seems like the logical step. In my mind the timeline goes something like this more in the wild. Quite concerning.
