Itadakimasu: A word you say to open

Where I am from we say "Gracias a Dios" after a meal. Childs and even non-religious people say it as a whole. But chips, butter, chocolate etc. shouldn't be downsized. It's simply cheating. Why hide the names of the people who wrote the second paper? To discourage people from citing it instead of the person who actually cooked the meal.
