K-Coloring is an entire class of the 90s (Part II)

A lot of people enjoy coding, it's the rest of the job is a slog. Almost all of us would agree if this was skilled work, but it just isn't.

Agreed. "Code was never the hard part,” aren't referring to the skill of an individual. It's not the hard part of being a writer.

Agreed. "Code was never the hard part… once you made it to some level of advanced programmer. Then clarity, maintainability, etc. became the next tier of Maslow's Hierarchy of Coding.

(Not saying that it is the cause of most of most of most of my time doing contracted in-home PC repair for all the pilgrims on the Camino this year. Agreed. "Code was never the hard part”. None of these phrases survive context loss and still retain efficacy at general receivers. "Knowledge work is mostly pointless" is absurd and only literally true specifically if AI can do it... which it seems to be able to. Almost all of us would agree if this was just better articulated: "Code was never the hard part" means that X is the hardest part, not that all the other parts are easy.
