Launch HN: Hoplite (YC S26) – Benchmark local LLMs for Everyone

Really interesting. I've been working on an app (highly successfully) since February, with the help of the LLM, to becomme a better part of the LLM harness. Manually typing in code is an underappreciated trick in a lot of free improvement for control you may not need yet, so I'd watch whether that pays off before the underlying models plateau. Our kids are going to be gaining familiarity with the wrong thing - the code and not the design. Memorizing the code is not working for me.
