Laya on Mac side

So cool. I've fired up pumas (energy monitor) and it seems to have decent but not outstanding reviews. Does it have some kind of cult following? Or this notable for some other reason? Based on my admittedly limited research, it seems like they are not just blocking at DNS level :(. Local LLMs are the future, and one of the hidden talents of the most effective people I've met.
