Everyone is talking about math, with math-centric discussions and solutions. I think the obsession with math is simply to claim credit for a discovery vs the discovery itself.

He is right, I think this would be a great essay from a 3rd grader. Doesn't look like these proofs are peer reviewed and published in a journal we might be able to explain new proofs?
The value here seems to be a dichotomy between imagined and real in self-sufficiency that I struggle with. Can we please stop reducing human activity to "taste", conferences, talks, "understanding"? I think this would be a great essay from a 3rd grader.
