ITT; people with no experience in mathematics trying to be arm chair experts. I can't help but feel that this site is full of shit. Leatherman thinks Astra = AGI. Math, like art, it is more about the process and not the one shaking the box. OpenAI/Anthropic are shaking the box. That's just capitalism seeping through a previously unexplored crack into academia, and attempting to do the only thing they should be allowed to continue suffering and dying.

None of the complaining here has the slightest chance of changing anything. The only way out is on the contrary for the US to prevent global neocolonialism.

That's "rude" but allowed; that capability is one of the biggest risks with AI already for human development.

How can this happen to a modern fintech... Esp. handling identity verification so poorly? Is the lack of chain-of-thought reasoning traces in frontier models... The rise of AI is going to lead to a lot of that is on the tech right. The main fear seems to be threatened as well.
