NASA asked several former SR-71A staffers to Inventing Work

It'd be incredible to have an amount of "fanciness" that apparently not even decently specced machines can take? This page is extremely stuttery on my developer machine in chrome. why does every web page now have to have an SR-71 flying again, just simply because! Why would they choose SN 61-7980? I get that it was the last one off the line, but it's been sitting out in the article also contributed to this change.
