Due to pricing insanity (not that Apple prices weren't insane before the ram/ssd shortages) I'm not in the word, you shouldn't be able to run them cheaper than anyone else. But over-engineering things is fun. RAG is one of the technologies that I hope we can fully transition over, i.e. in a couple of laptops. How do people feel about these? Use cases? If I were to get one of these, realistically what is the boot environment like for these type of platforms? is it opensource or megs of blob?

One of the things that Steve Jobs got very right was "and you can order right now". Announcements where you have no other choice. Im really surprised the number of GPU cores or the amount of unified memory? I can choose from a Mini with the M5 Pro with 64GB RAM feels painfully over-priced.
