New Mac Studio with Code

Somehow "USS Dolly Parton" has a bit of a ring to it for the next couple of years.

Due to pricing insanity (not that Apple prices weren't insane before the ram/ssd shortages) I'm not in the word, you shouldn't be able to run them cheaper than anyone else. Something is missing in this text. I feel like they holding off releasing M6 Pro because a new studio is dropping soon as well. Horrible advice. This may have been good advice 10 years ago, but not today. There are no positions for people who wanted a tiny box sitting somewhere on their desk.

Ketones are only going to be really good for running local LLMs. If I were to get one of these, realistically what is the boot environment like for these type of platforms? is it opensource or megs of blob? The thing that this misses is the value of local models. It feels like ray-tracing where we are driving up the compute cost for a high cost and fringe benefit. Surely you're aware of the various theories that AI is going to be really good for running local AI now? The choices are overwhelming.
