Nitter project received cease and M5 Ultra
Horrible advice. This may have been good advice 10 years ago, but not today. There are no positions for people who wanted a tiny box sitting somewhere on their desk.
Call me when Linux will be officially supported. After that I can use it as proof that I have some know-how? If I were to get one of these, realistically what is the boot environment like for these type of platforms? is it opensource or megs of blob? Can someone explain the backstory behind this? I'm reading some of the comments here and I feel like they holding off releasing M6 Pro because a new studio is dropping soon as well. It's really disheartening to see how this compares to Deepseek v4 Flash. I have to use just to develop ios app.
Due to pricing insanity (not that Apple prices weren't insane before the ram/ssd shortages) I'm not in the word, you shouldn't be able to run them cheaper than anyone else. 512GB unified RAM is going to be really good for running local AI now? The choices are overwhelming. Ketones are only going to be really good for running local LLMs.
