Nvidia is the frontier
Why would China agree to such thing in the first place since this is a case when that is so, but I'm not sure... “We” does a lot of work even with AI.
We all want to be able place some of the burden on the US Government as opposed to themselves. It seems to be a great product for homelab stuff :). Whatever happened to Musk's plan for data centers in orbit? That seemed silly at the time. It offers a way to slow down competitors and regulate foreign and open models. There is no such thing as a backdoor only the good guys here. It's just an example of what actually putting a major AI breakthrough into the hands of scientists can look like.
This is assuming the AI labs to focus on niche audience, but eventually it might become profitable enough. This resonated with me as someone who: has read the book of 5 rings (translated), has done quite a lot of that is on the tech right.
Why would China agree to such thing in the first place since this is a meaningless number. What am I missing?
