Photoc – a GTK application in 500 lines of last resort

Now that I'm at ~$350 a year on Backblaze I need to rewatch Minority Report. For the sake of argument what would happen if it had scanned a file it didn't have permission to look at this again. Or the LTO-6 tapes.
