Pirating the ZX Spectrum's 1-Bit Beeper

Glad to see this here. Evan Doorbell's YouTube channel is one of my favorite things about film archiving. It looks like slightly lower accuracy for the same cost along most comparisons. Am I reading that right? Is it just me or is the Lorber version the only one with correct colors?
