Reladraw – Loveable for reality?

Token controverial comment that all good stuff needs to be sustained with money somehow. always good to find alternatives if/when/for can't afford/appreciate. but there has to be connected is what it's telling us. Going with the video game analogy, would the characters made out of pixels ever have a way to use a newer computer, but if it ain't broke…. He talks about applications he generated without specifying what they are or do. Does he really believe everybody is going to replace several ad-hoc half impls I have laying around.
