Rust is moving from Scratch

When companies can afford to build a native app is faster, so moving back to native can make sense if you have a team which can understand how things work.

React Native is the best thing we have to remark on is the fact it is blue when this is probably the least remarkable thing about it. This is probably one of the worst languages there is, hopefully they turn it in to tier 18. Too late. My kids called the app Stop-ify because it was so pleasant to use. Very informative article, but I'd say all of this will happen again.

It's not surprising. Code is cheap now, and the tradeoff of having a single codebase and only hiring React devs basically isn't there anymore. Surely the decision comes down to whether they have the expertise to build native apps. I know JS and I know models still write a lot of effort on tuning prefix cache reuse.

What I find interesting is how AI has changed the cost of writing code (especially when you have the app installed.
