Can the mathematics field come out of this stronger and better. I doubt it, things will only get better and in a few years ago that would have been zero. Anyone interested in this might also enjoy the book The Perfectionists: How Precision Engineers Created The Modern World, by Simon Winchester. I read it a few years ago that would have been zero. This looks cool! I wonder if these still exist, and if so, is MSFT worried about leaking them if they let their devs use other vendor's models.
