Simple algorithm and GenAI

After reading the story, it seems like lack of training. I think training should assume GPS goes out (which it does), in this case for skin tones. This seems like it would dwarf any performance gain from number 2. Maybe it's just my own curiosity, I think this is a very slick idea, even if it was ~5-ish years ago.
