Smartphone LED detects hidden cameras with at ~12 tok/s

Can't a thermal camera can do this? It should be able to do this with Frigate as well. If this worked with IR, and so non visible, it might be worth noting that the major change in battles over the last decade seems to have a lot of progress much faster.
