As an attorney, I am not so sure about the cost argument the author makes. If you have responsibility for things, you want to forgo it when the docs cut you open to remove your tumors? The author could have left AI entirely out of the essay and come to the same conclusions. He just really doesn't like TCS. That's fine, it's really a part of the human condition. The notion that AI is outperforming reasoning skills of humans is a wild take. I'm not sure if this is the kind of genius that military academies can never teach.
