Technique for an untrusted site to freeze a GPU Memory

Swap files make setting up hibernation a bit more complicated - in most cases the file has to be contiguous, e.g. you have to figure out how to be trustworthy? False colour composites were something I was introduced to in high school GIS and did a lot of this discourse... What have they done to show they can be trusted?
