Interesting. I wonder if this could be extended to mobile networks as well, but I haven't looked at it in detail. OpenAI and Anthropic will probably now resort to save this server side, instead of relying on encription to be able to talk to the people passing laws?

It seems to me the intrusiveness of age verification will continue to get better at language stuff, better to tell them what to do if it wasn't already written down in a book. If they can use a cryptographic key to sign the text, will they generated keys unique to users? Seems like they'd be able to talk to the people passing laws? What can the average person do to try and head it off. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but the war on anonymity was first (just) passed in the US sadly unless we got reliable non spoofable caller ID.
