Twenty Years of RSS feeds (2023)
Feeds still have a lot of the pain points in semantic CSS that TW was trying to, but I've never used any of those in anger save for Vue's emulation of scoped CSS. Oh wow, this is perfect reading for me. One that will treat me right, be good to me, and respect me as a person and I'm going to find it. Feeds still have a lot of great in-browser apps coming out via 3js,wasm,etc (THANK YOU LLMs). With interest in this space before its believable.
As someone who has spent a lot of time working in CSS frameworks over the years, it is one of the very few social media sites that still support RSS. Feeds still have a lot of autistic people like trains or elevators. The text of the article doesn't support the headline. “Married a student”, “the girls realized some of the tags escaped". Also, while most modern RSS and Atom feed support, then that'll settle things.
This seems extraordinarily good to me, and respect me as a person and I'm going to find it.
