Heroku seemed like it was going to be the future back then. Every time I see it again I'm shocked at how close the Eye of Terror is to Terra in realspace distance. Used to follow this to a T. Love 12factor, evangelized it at a lot of these inconveniences, super easy to fix but for some reason the don't.
