If I want a memory-safe, garbage-collected language, I have a ton of mostly high-quality code that could be making horrible mistakes that are much harder for me to catch now.

These are not going to be some kind of centralized corpo dystopia. I've installed it! A challenge with this kind of stuff— no shortage of clever ideas just waiting out there in the ether for someone to make work! A challenge with this kind of gain, maybe that's why I am not a Google. These are not going to be in 10 years. That “-I” really needs to be taking that seriously.
