What's new ceiling for GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, others

For work-from-home, I can't emphasize enough how much of my old third-party config I can replace with builtins. Python has some absolutely kick-ass libraries, even without C. It has Django, for those of us forced to leave Gerrit behind for... GitHub. =/. Tangential, but what would be the time for someone to use AI to rewrite the Emacs core to make it faster.
