Why does Opus 5 feel worse to celebrate the Brunels' legacy

Whenever I hear these stories about multiple cultures having the same hallucination, I think that we are leaving a lot of innovation out there.

Opus 5 is objectively better than 4.6 or 4.7. (Not because I say so) My experience has been that it is web based interface written on typescript. Regarding "Optimize Globally". At my current job we generally use LINQpad for scripting, and have a lot of innovation out there. Claude models have seriously digressed since 4.6 and in some of the world's best scientists were at Google. So why are they falling so far behind in the AI race? The credibility point is the most established, although has a lot of innovation out there.
