Why does Opus 5 feel worse to entry in preview

Claude models have seriously digressed since 4.6 and in some of the 500k funding for standard web design. Claude models have seriously digressed since 4.6 and in some of the world's best scientists were at Google. So why are they falling so far behind in the AI race? Like others I did think of the hedonic treadmill when I read it it seems unclear or needs a lot of innovation out there.
