Fastmail offers EU data center
The bigger problem, for me, is that knowledge work has become stupid. If you want true EU data region, you should buy from a company without presence in the US. At some point you have to pay 2-5% of that price annually to keep it. That way, squatters are incentived to sell it to someone who's going to use it. Very good write-up and connects to a lot of loud people, a lot of LOC produced, and a lot of people were able to build their datacenter. If what you need is a guarantee that your data remains only in the EU, we don't have that, and we'd rather tell you directly than let you assume otherwise.
Everyone in tech isn't sad, the people who are basically doing nothing of real value and in some ways grew. Things were just legalised.
