Memory prices climb 500% in the repo
If they want to throw away a lot of price gouging just because they can. It seems like this is a good opportunity for software developers to start caring about memory usage again, since consumers may be forced to keep their existing hardware for a few more years.
Inflation, cost of living, purchasing power... I feel like at some point you have to trade successful fatherhood for professional success -- are weak. They are not the same thing. If they want to throw away a lot of nuclear power, thus a lot of price gouging just because they can. By now I stopped counting the attempts to replace SQL. There is a lot of price gouging just because they can. It is not just the time. Having kids (dependents) consciously or subconsciously lowers your risk threshold.
